Being born in Eastern Europe, I never really found a sauerkraut in Australia that came close to the crunchy, tangy flavour we grew up eating almost every day back home. This is it.
One bite brings back memories. It’s fresh, crunchy and tastes exactly how proper homemade sauerkraut should taste. I also love how versatile it is, you can enjoy it on its own, add it to salads, sandwiches or cooked meals and the juice in the jar is absolutely delicious.
